Salmon Faverolle Cockerel

 The Faverolle, Originating in France are primarily bred for show. The Faverolle is very different from the regular chicken, having a beard, muffs, feathered feet and five toes. In the Salmon variety the cockerel is a completely different colour, making them easy to be sexed at a young age. Other varieties of the Faverolle are white, black, cuckoo, splash, and blue but salmon  being the most popular. The hens are consistent layers of a medium sized light coloured egg.
